As promised in the last post, I took Friday (12/02) off from running, but double down stretches.

12/03/2011 - I felt good after a day off and run around MH Trail for 30m'36s' approx. 4.2 miles.

12/04/2011 - Exactly one week away from marathon day.  I drove down to Riley's Lock and ran for 1h'13m'19s' approx. 10.0 miles. 

12/05/2011 - It is last week of training for Tucson Marathon and the year.  I felt very good when I got up this morning, but I really should hold my horses and take it easy till Sunday.  So during lunch hour, I ran around RC PKWY for 32m'02s' approx. 4.6 miles and felt super strong afterward.

12/06/2011 - Instead of running 400s repeat, I ran 8x90s' repeats with 90s' break in between rep.  Around lunch time, I jogged down to East Potomac Park for about 2 miles, and then start the easy workout toward the Point.  I hit each split exactly at 1m'30s'.  At the end, I add on additional 2x1 minutes and jogged the same route back (approx. 2 miles) as warm down.  I finished with 52m'56s', approx. 6.9 miles for the day.

12/07/2011 - It is raining day in DC and temperature is in the 50s.  It is my very last run in the area before flight west.  I was going to jog the exact route as Monday, but few roads was closed because of Occupy Capitol March and I didn't want to run fast few days before TM; so I ran slowly for 33m'21s' approx. 4.5 miles. 





Ready or not, here I come Tucson Marathon ...
