The Tenth State - Day One

I rolled out of bed at 0500 this morning.  I hurried get everything ready and drove out of driveway to BWI.  My flight was short 55-minute into PVD.  After I land, I quickly pick up my car and drove to Roger William Park – a park to memorize the founder of Rhode Island.  It has a nice little lake and I stroll on the trail around the lake.  It is mid-spring in Maryland, but in RI, it still feel like early spring; however, we have an abnormal winter, but you still can feel the coldness in air.  I ran some, then stop took some pictures, and then jog again.  I ran/jogged for about 40m’ and call it the day.

By noon, I stand next to the Rhode Island State House.  It has not much to talk about, just like any other state capitol.  Here are some pictures of it and the Providence downtown.

I am going to bed now and will post some more tomorrow after the race.
