For whatever reason, my left knee was acting up on Tuesday afternoon; I excused that to two days of running after a hard ten miles race.  I think that most likely I didn’t rest enough after a hard run.
I remember I read an article a while ago on Runners’ World saying that ‘runners’ knee is not an injury and it is not a problem in knee; it is actually tired hamstring got inflamed due to lack of rest after hard workouts or runs.
So I went home with half limping left leg, ice my left hammy as soon as I sunk my butt in the couch while watching NCIS, and then hit the sack around 21:30.  This morning, I woke up feeling recharged and sore left knee kind of gone away.
I got into my office building around 06:45, quickly change into running clothes, and jog out of building.  Before I get into my gear, the radio said ‘43 degree in NW DC and partly cloudy’; I don’t know what happen, it turned cloudy and colder by the time I en-route to Hais Point.  It actually had gotten worst and started pouring rain toward the end of my run.
However, I got my workout done, but I didn’t run exactly the way I had planned as yesterday.  Detail:

Moreover, I think I didn’t run bad this morning; considering the fact that I ran a hard race just three days ago and I was running with caution on the knee, didn’t want get any worst.  Anyway, what a way to celebrate a leap day!
I am going to run easy for the next two days and a 22-miler long run on Saturday morning.
