Some Additional Data for Thunder Road Marathon

I took a closer look at the race split from active.com. 

I ran 44’43 at first 10K, that is 7m’12s’ pace; which just as I planned before start to go easy for the first quarter of the race.  Then I pick up the pace to 7m’07s’ after duck behind others and ran 1’33’14’ at half way.  After running solo in head wind for 6.9 miles, I slow my pace down to 7m’11s’ at mile 20 for 2’23’49’.  I think the adrenaline was pump up after I noticed only 10K to go; I finished the last 6.2 miles in 43’44’, which is 7m’02s’ pace.

I ran faster per mile in the last 10K than the first 20-hard-mile.  This is very frustrating for me.  I was so ready for this thing; but weather forecast is not something within my control.  I am not happy.
